Introduction
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is located north-central part of Nepal; cheering series of Himalayan peaks, includes the 10th highest mountain in the world called Annapurna 1st (8091m). The Annapurna Conservation area project protects the Annapurna region. Your trekking trail begins after one and a half hours drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Then hike to Ghandruk, Chhomrong, Dovan, and ABC. During trekking, one can see the realistic existence of Gurung culture, their lifestyles and enjoy the panoramic view of Himalayas.
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking occupies the natural diversity, such as incredible view of Annapurna, terraced hillsides, rhododendron forests, hot spring, deep narrow Modi Khola Gorge, bamboo forests, white waterfall, Annapurna Glacier and Gurung villages. In the spring season, orchid flowers, Blooming rhododendron forests, bamboo forests, and other vegetation change mountain hill to the garden.
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is also popular as Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking. Trekkers will be surrounded by snowcapped mountains in Machhapuchre Base Camp (3725m) and Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). The Holy mountain Machhapuchre also called Fishtail (6993m), Annapurna 1st (8091m), Annapurna South(7219m), Hiuchuli (6441m), Gangapurna (7455m), Singa Chuli (6501m), Tent peak( 5670m) and many other small peaks makes you awesome and blessed. Accommodations and Overnight Stays
Accommodations, once upon arrival in Kathmandu, will include overnight stays at the Samsara in Thamel, Kathmandu. If bookings for the Samsara Hotel are full then you will be accommodated appropriately with similar amenities. During the trek in Upper Mustang you will be accommodated with similar arrangements in guesthouses and local tea houses. Most accommodations along the trek are single rooms with 2 twin bed accommodations, meaning 2 guests per room; personalized accommodations and preference of single occupied rooms will be at an additional charge. Attached wash facilities are available in Kathmandu but in most cases are shared spaces during the trek.
*Difficulties are common in higher regions for requests of single rooms.
Meals and Nutrition
During your trekking adventure, AMC will provide you with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Usually, breakfast and dinner will be provided at your guest house accommodations, and lunch, depending on our geographical location and stent of the journey, will be consumed along the trail. While visiting Kathmandu, breakfast is provided and the rest of your nutritional needs will be up to you, with a wide variety of different cuisines available. During the trek, it is far more common to feast on local Nepalese cuisine and Tibetan cuisine.
