Considered
to be the cardle of the ancient Malla civilization. Dense
temperate forests teeming with wildlife border remote alpine
pastures. The serene, translucent waters of Rara Lake provide
a sublime reflection of the surrounding mountains. During
autumn the visitor is also rewarded with a profusion of
wild alpine flowers. This conveniently short trek is frequently
combined with trips Dolpo and Kailash.
